Who We Are
Mountain Artworx was started by Alex and Sandra Garcia in 2017 after purchasing a plotter and T-shirt press to pursue a hobby of making shirts.
This quickly turned into a business when customers realized that Alex was using an actual AutoCAD program to design the T-shirts, rather than the cookie cutter SVGs that existed on the market.
Shortly after opening an ETSY store and then becoming a vendor at a tiny boutique in his local town, Alex decided that he wanted to try his hand at metal work in order to create personalized metal signs for individuals and businesses, so he purchased a CNC Plasma table.
No stranger to metal fabrication, Alex has a history of customizing vehicles, where he first began to use metal, wood, fiberglass, and resin to create his custom vehicles and those of his customers.
With a show background and multiple award winning designs, he is self-taught on the CNC Plasma table.
He has since purchased a laser etcher and has added this to his design tools. With his multi-modality approach and attention to detail, there is no project too big or too small that he cannot achieve.
